You should always listen to the opinion but that doesn’t mean you have to use it.
It happens all the time. A writer has a script that’s been through multiple rounds of notes from multiple readers, and instead of getting stronger, it’s become weak and confused.
The original voice has been diluted. The story has lost its center. What started as a flawed but authentic piece of work has become a Frankenstein’s monster of different people’s opinions.
